Ruth and her techniques are amazing! Our dogs are so much better behaved and calm. Ruth worked with our entire family, and was so patient and friendly. We would recommend her 200%!!

We were almost ready to return our Swedish vallhund puppy to the breeder because of fear aggression problems, the harder we tried to overcome the issues the more frustrated we became, because it just wasn't working. Then we found out about Ruth/Bark Busters, although we were skeptical at first we decided to give it a try, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We've seen a huge change in our dog's behavior for the better! Mike F.

Ruth is kind and knowledgeable. She has worked with us every step of the way with our dogs behavior. She cares about her clients and achieving a happy household where dogs can relax and be happy. She truly loves and cares about all animals. The techniques really do work and we have seen great improvements in our dogs behavior.

Ruth was a wonderful trainer and was very kind and knowledgeable. Within a few minutes of arriving, she identified problem behaviors and had both of my dogs responding to correction, even my lovable-but-sassy Shih Tzu mix who is hearing impaired. My girls had some pretty bad manners at the door and could be more than a little obnoxious with greeting new people. They also had a few bad habits that were starting to cause trouble in the house, in the yard, and on walks. I confess I allowed them to get away with some things for a long time because I found it to be cute and it seemed relatively harmless. Ruth's methods for correction were demonstrated and explained clearly, and done in a way that made it apparent that training and boundaries are as beneficial for the pets as they are for the owners. I honestly was not sure how my usually stubborn and spirited dogs would take to being corrected. I confess I was (very pleasantly) surprised that my dogs were calm and content, and seemed to really appreciate the clear direction. I can say that I certainly appreciate it, too! It can be all too easy to forget that dogs cannot always understand the complexities of human thought and behavior, despite how obvious that should be. Ruth explained everything in a way that made sense to me and made sense to my two girls. They are responding well to the new rules of the house, and I have full confidence that they will continue to do so. It is also worth noting that Zoey (the black and scruffy-looking Shih Tzu mix in the attached pictures) has never seemed to be fond of being told what to do by strangers. I was blown away by how well she responded to Ruth. She even laid down and curled up next to her! Ruth is a trainer who loves obviously loves dogs, and really cares about their well being.

We went with barkbusters/ruth last year to work on our dogs dominance issues. It started out good but soon turned sour. She talked us into giving her a good review to get a discount on a toy, which at the time we had good thoughts about ruth. Since then she was rude with us and questioned our own personality into why our dog was acting up. We just stopped requesting meetings and we never heard from her checking in or asking how things were going. Luckily we found InTouch dog training in black creek and we couldn't be happier with them. Our dog loves playing with other dogs now!! We are also glad we no longer have to growl at our dog :)
