Nice clean office, classy office manager, and Patricia, the Audiologist, as well. This is an above board and a legitimate business that strives to test one's hearing, and whether or not a hearing aid is right for you. If so, which is the appropriate one for you? Your budget?
Testing is done in a quiet, comfortable and controlled environment for optimal test results.
This business is in stark contrast to the traveling hearing aid salesman with some training in hearing instruments. The hearing test he performed on me was in my own living room: not ideal. He tried to sell me a set of hearing aids that would have been inappropriate for me. I suspect that his main training was in sales. Certainly not in business ethics or etiquette.
I highly recommend Timberline Hearing as a friendly, reputable place to have your hearing evaluated, and to purchase one along with the necessary supplies needed on an ongoing basis.
