We moved out of a rental property that they were managing. We had lived there less then 6 weeks, cleaned up the property (it hadn’t been cleaned before we moved in) and 2 months went by with no word on our deposit or an itemized list. I reached out to them on multiple occasions. At first I was met with “the owner of properties west will be in touch.” Eventually I got in touch with the owner and she blamed the owners of the rental house for not receiving our deposit (which makes no sense as they are the management company and I had a contract with them). I was very very patient and would check in occasionally. It has now been 4.5 months and the owner of properties west went from “figuring it out” to ghosting us. If you’re an owner looking for a management company I would avoid this company and if you’re a renter I would also avoid renting from them. I’ve always gotten my deposit back for agreements far longer then 6 weeks.

I bought my first house by myself. In May of 2017. It's small and was furnished. I had no real furniture. It's a quiet place now for the most part.
