Mississippi Museums

There is a lot of history in this building. I highly recommend taking the time to look around AND to talk with Donna, who was a wealth of knowledge.

Docent was excellent. No fees. Donations accepted. School has a John Grisham exhibition and The Templeton Music exhibit is a must see.

My friend and I stopped by and we didn't go through the museum just the gift shop part. I bought a cute thumb ring and a t-shirt.

This was our first stop on The Juke Joint Blues Festival 2024. Very well done and informative. Great artwork!

Wonderful exhibits that span several thousand years of local history. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Run by National Park Service...free admission.....well thought out exhibits.

For as little fuding they get- they do a Great job explaining the Trace trail, stands, and history. The free maps are priceless. So helpful. But also tons of Good info

Nice downtown area to walk around. I rented a scooter to drive around for a few. Had a good time.

This was a free place and very much worth the time it's been about 2 hours there gawking at a really wonderful model railroad display. The largest in the state.

A rare look inside a stable that was in use during the 1800s.
