This was a wonderful place to visit, the jail is indoors and well preserved. The floor and some of the stones on the outside are the only items original to the site.

The presentations and historical displays were well done and interesting. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable.

I went to the zoo for a work conference and it was great. The staff were so nice and helpful. At night the lanterns were beautiful! It's a must if you are in St. Louis!
