A few days ago, I arranged for Alex to inspect my gas range, which wasn't igniting. In the hustle and bustle leading up to the appointment (I was having my entire kitchen remodeled), I hadn't managed a thorough check myself and presumed it was malfunctioning. It turns out the issue was simply that the gas valve was turned off a simple oversight, not an appliance failure. Upon his visit, Alex proceeded to dismantle the range without identifying or mentioning the true nature of the problem. During his visit, instead of identifying this simple fix, he began to disassemble the range. He removed the unit's computing system, informing me he needed to take it for further diagnosis and promised to return the following day for reinstallation. This service concluded with a $220 billa sum that felt excessive for what could have been a straightforward resolution. While I would have been more than willing to pay the $75 service fee for his time, my negligence, and the simple adjustment of turning the valve on, the lack of transparency has left me disappointed. I encourage future customers to exercise caution with this company and its technicians, as my experience suggests a potential for dishonesty.
