Great hike in the mountains. Just make sure to avoid the trail if there was recent rain or snow melting.

Don't anyone else go there. Leave it all to me The pond, the park, the walking and bike paths along the river with the mountains in view is a renewing experience.

There used to be a cattleman's watering trough set up( and the idea was to arrive prepared.) Bucket cold water from the river to cool down the tub.
