Emerald City Athletics - Wallingford

Ive been to many gyms from the East to West coast. By far, ECA of Wallingford steals the show. Other ECAs were nice but the staffing at Wallingford is unmatched. Chase, Shae, Dallas and Belinda are amazingly knowledgeable and professional. They also just brought on another staffing member as well that was amazing but dont recall his name ( ugly tall dude ) but he knows his stuff as well. Great place and worth more than they charge by far!!!!!! Thanks guys for the experience.

I attended a Yelp event here recently and was impressed by the fantastic staff. We enjoyed a complimentary group class and hydro massage, along with snacks and drinks. The gym has a cool green vibe, and the equipment and trainers are top-notch. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I found my favorite local gym - the staff are super hospitable, personally accommodating, and all do a great job of cultivating a growth environment. The employees are always friendly and inviting - shoutout to Maurice, Maddie, and OShea who usually welcome me in. I look forward to going to ECA, especially for the champs classes with Jake, Dallas, and Taysia - theyve all been instrumental in improving my technique and strength, and have provided a really encouraging and stoked-up training environment. The initial gym tour provided me with valuable personal insights, and from there, monthly reprogramming sessions and casual conversations with staff have helped me create, clarify, and refine sensible training, nutrition, and recovery plans to reach my goals. Shoutout to Chase, Dallas, Maurice, Melissa, and Jake for all taking the time to work with me and fill a ton of gaps in my knowledge; the collective knowledge at ECA is vast! Ive been pleasantly surprised by my strength and body composition improvements since I joined a few months ago, and a huge part of that has come from joining the champions classes and making friends with the trainers.

I am relatively new to strength training so finding a comfortable, clean, helpful gym was important to me. Ive really enjoyed the experience at ECA so far. The facilities are clean, brightly lit, and 2 I come in, I feel motivated! Even when theres a bit more people, Ive never felt like I was waiting for weights or a machine etc. Things just flow. I feel the gym is really well equipped. Lastly, the staff is awesome! Everyone has been super welcoming and helpful. Im a ClassPass user but I am strongly considering canceling that in favor of a membership here! Its been about three months of trying ECA and its made strength training something I look forward to!
