I regret to say that my recent stay at the Bridgewater Hotel was marred by a disappointing encounter with their front desk staff and their unfair policy regarding breakfast service. Despite being on our fourth day at the hotel, the front desk exhibited a hostile attitude when my wife attempted to collect breakfast for me due to my delayed wake-up caused by illness. We were staying in room 313. Shockingly, they adamantly refused, insisting that I must personally go down to retrieve it. This treatment was not only offensive but also contradictory to our previous experience, where we had no issues collecting two breakfasts for one room over the past three days. Clearly, there is a lack of consistency and transparency in their policies. Upon raising this concern with the hotel manager, I was met with further disappointment as she merely reiterated the existence of this policy without providing any evidence of its existence. It is unacceptable for a hotel to enforce such a policy without clear communication to guests. Overall, my experience at the Bridgewater Hotel was tarnished by unwelcoming behavior and an unjust policy. I urge the management to reconsider their approach and prioritize fair and transparent policies to ensure a more positive experience for all guests.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds, just somewhat outdated. Rooms are tiny Rooms: Very small but very clean

Terrible hotel! When I booked a room and paid for four people, it said 2 Queen, but it turned out to be one Queen and one single bed. The hotel said: Yes, I will give you two beds! We are staying for four days, there is no way we can sleep four people, and why should we squeeze into a three-person room when we pay for four people? The receptionist's attitude is very bad, and they asked us to call the manager (by ourselves) tomorrow, but we are not sure if there is a room. Can be replaced! I was really angry~ I didnt offer any help at all, and in the end I kept asking, what do you want to do now?

Clean, great location and helpful, friendly staff. Well definitely stay there again. Walkability: Easy walk to many restaurants, shops and museums.
