Motel 6 Tucson, AZ - Downtown

Overall, not the worst stay, but the hotel did leave a bit to be desired. The biggest issue for us was that the air vent in our bathroom lined up with the air vent in the room next door. You could look straight into the other room's bathroom. We covered our vent with a towel, but that's definitely not ideal. Cleanliness wise, the towels and sheets had been bleached and were clean. The shower curtain was a little skudgy but not awful. The floors were wood/laminate and probably needed a sweep. There was an old contact lens on the floor in our room. The area seems a bit dodgy (no fault to the hotel) and while we were checking in, someone called down to complain that there was a stranger in their room?? They were advised to call the police. I didn't hear any drama after that though, so maybe it resolved on its own. The rooms are definitely not sound proofed in any way. The room next door to us needed a new battery in its smoke detector, and we could hear it chirping all night. It's near a freeway and you can hear cars as well, but honestly that's expected at a cheaper place off the freeway.

Ended up calling a friend Walkability: Low, sketchy at night, would not want a lady there alone. I open carry and was on alert.

Room was clean but had some roaches it's AZ no microwave like they said and freezer leak into my refrigerator stuff soaking my food Nearby activities: Downtown Tucson it's wonderful down there

The lady with glasses in the office speaks Spanish is so rude like she hates her job there is another lady blonde she's nice and helpfull bad hotel but people can make it ok if they weren't so rude
