The Marshall at Arkansas

fire alarms go off every 1-2 weeks on average. Sometimes multiple times a week. Majority of the time it is at 2am/3am. Apartment management does nothing to rectify this for residents and seems to have no attempts to reduce these occurrences.

One star on this place is even a compliment coming from me. They deserve no stars. This place is an absolute joke. The management is absolutely awful. Ive had nothing but bad experiences for this place. I pay close to $1000 a month to live in a trashy ran down place. The walls have holes and graffiti all over them. Yet when you go to tour they only show you the good side. During the winter the doors were zip tied shut defeating the purpose of the security they so call advertise. Parking is HORRENDOUS I pay $40 a month for a spot you never get to park in and the towing company they use is worthless when you need a vehicle towed out of your spot. When you park where they TELL you to park if that happens, then they proceed to tow your car and your left with an Uber bill to get to the towing company and $110 bill to get your vehicle back. You cant bring up your concerns to them or they make you feel stupid and that its an inconvenience to them that youre bringing it to their attention. I would rather live in my car than live here. I will not be recommending this place to ANYONE.

I have lived here for a year and a half and its been horrible they have no where to park and the fire alarms always going off front desk people real cool though.

*Editing this just to say that it's crazy how the response to all these issues is just raise rent and not solve anything. All these student living properties are reaching crazy prices now. I lived here 2 years ago, and the rent has been raised 50%. Glad I'm graduating before $1,000/month for 1 bedroom in a 4bed becomes the normal. I'm just gonna list some of the issues I had with the place until I get bored. * My roommate had to use a rental car for a few days while their car got fixed up after an accident. He was expected to pay $50 for a whole new parking sticker for this rental because The Marshall does not carry temporary parking passes. * General parking is 90% compact spots and despite that, you still have to pay a separate fee to use it. * In that same parking lot, my car was hit overnight. $1,400 in damages. No note. I brought this up multiple times to the manager. Every single time he told me he would check the cameras and get back to me. Two years later I'm still waiting. * Have never heard of a time here where management has solved a problem. Their mantra is telling people that this issue is simply out of their control. Not the best thing to constantly hear from people running the place * Many features that were advertised as being part of the complex are either not here or dont work. The roof is pathetic compared to what was advertised. 8 months into the lease and the TV up there still does not work * This one is not the Marshalls fault, but the fire alarm here goes off at minimum once a week. Most of the time after midnight so have fun with that. * There were no cameras in this complex for months. A lot of friends had stuff taken in that time.
