Update: I just tried to transfer $2k out of here, to a personal verified external account, so get started at another bank. Now I am stuck on the phone with the fraud dept AGAIN!!! Ridiculous! Original: The branch I opened my account at seemed good. I left, and started moving all of my banking over. I setup all of my autopays. Then I tried to setup external banks so that I can transfer money to pay business loans out of business banking accounts. This is where the trouble began. The accounts were rejected with the instant verification, so I had to do the microdeposits, which take days. After the accounts were successfully set up, I tried to transfer money to each of the accounts. One was tagged as fraud and I had to approve it via text. The other was outright rejected by Chase Fraud, then Chase automatically deleted the external account! I had to start all over adding it with microdeposits. These microdeposits take several business days each time, which was going to cause my payments to be late. Chase provided no excuse as to why they deleted an account that I added and verified with their microdeposits. From day 1 with this bank, every other transaction I tried to make was rejected as fraud. I was repeatedly locked out of the online app, & forcecd to call foreign support or drive to the branch. After a visit with the branch, they upgraded my account to Sapphire Checking. This normally costs $25/month but you are supposed to be able to speak to USA support. It was also supposed to help stop the recurring fraud issues that were simply just me attempting to do basic banking with my new bank. To avoid the montly fee, I was also supposed to move my IRA to this bank by the end of the free trial period. That certainly will not happen, as too many petty issues have occured and I do not trust this place. I was also told that Chase Fraud will "learn" my habits, which over time will stop these fraud issues. That is ridiculous, and they will not learn my habits because I am self employed and nothing is going to be cookie-cutter with what I do other than basic home bills. Meanwhile, I received a letter from the State that I had unclaimed funds of $123 from an old Chase acct. It said to contact Chase to receive this, otherwise Chase is turning that over to the state and I can claim thru the state after June. I called the # that Chase provided to the state for me to claim this. They had no record of me or my money, not even using SSN. I then went to the branch. The man who helped me seemed to have never seen something like this and told me there is no Unclaimed Funds Dept. He could not find any record of this money. This did not score any points for my trust in Chase. Yesterday I learned from my mortgage company that the autopay of my mortgage (which worked fine last month) was returned as NSF, yet the account had 3x the amount of the mortgage in it. I now owe a $25 NSF fee to my mortgage company, and had to setup a payment from Chase to pay it again. I have no idea if they will reject or pay it, since they continuously deny my real transactions as fraud. I spoke with Chase on the phone yesterday and, using the USA support line, nwas forced to speak to a woman with such a thick foreign accent that I could barely understand. I thnk she did not understand me either, as she kept reasking things I had told her several times. Her answer was simply that the problem is with my mortgage company, contact them. I ended the conversation saying that I will be leaving this bank. For a $25/month upgraded account with USA-support, this woman should never have been on the other end of the line. I'm online now moving all of my bills and payments to my online banking accounts. Both online banks are free, and if I call them I get an American every time, speaking in an American accent, who comprehends what I am saying. My online savings account is High-Yield, paying 4.75%apr (vs Chase which pays 0.01%). My online checking account even pays 1.5%apr (vs Chase pays 0%). I should have just skipped Chase and moved straight to the online banks.

Wow, just wow. Took an hour and half and 50 pages of gobbledygook to put myself on my mothers existing account in case something happens to her. They asked for 2 forms of ID and the usual I'd stuff, no harm no foul. But then they started asking all sorts of unnecessary information like where I work how much I make etc. I am not borrowing money, how in the world was it this difficult to get a name on an account. Gotta love just being a number and not having privacy

We recently opened an new account with Chase in October 22 at the branch located at the corner of Brookhurst nd Adams. This is the worst experience we ever facing with. The banker Emilio Lopez opened the account for us and our first payroll roll check was directly deposited to the account long other checks. After a week our account was closed because Chase fraud department suspected this is a fraud account. Emilio suggested that we should reopened a different new account and again the second account was closed and all of our checks currently were hold back for more than 2 months. We went to the bank to look for Emilio for help and was instructed that he was promoted to a business banker and longer work at the branch. After 2 months all of our money are freezes in the closed account and we don't even know when they will refund our money. In the meanwhile we don't have money to pay for our daily expense. This is the worst experience we are facing. This is a horrible bank, horrible practice and horrible customer service.
