Golden Sails Hotel

To be fair, I was there for an event. I have never stayed there. Vendors were set up in the lobby, which is too small for the number of vendors there. I fell off the step & a vendor told me they asked that the steps be marked in some way. All the hotel did was put a strip of masking tape which just blended into the floral carpet. I twisted my ankle trying to keep from falling completely down.

The worst room I've ever stayed in. Carpet in he room is literally sticky, with various stains. There is a small couch in the room that looks like it's been in the trash for a few months then placed back in the room. One pillow has blood stains on it. Everything else looks old and runned down. I don't understand how this place is still in business.

The room a little cold. The cold wind from outside filtered into the room. The bed very comfortable. Good amenities and shower. The room in general was quite spacious and comfortable. Good value for money.

Rather divey and far from the rest of the city, but it served its purpose for me: crash pad after a concert next door. For the price paid it was a reasonable place to stay. Could do with a bit of renovation but the bed was comfortable, room clean, and the shower had great pressure, so my requirements for a post-concert crash pad were met. Walkability: NOT AT ALL.
