TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Diego Downtown

The room was nice minus the sliding glass door to the bathroom. This made it feel like it lacked privacy. The staff was great. Park at the Holiday Inn parking garage. Parking was a nightmare with a full sized pickup. I made the mistake to go to the second level and really struggled to get back out with the right turns. Stay on the first level if you have a large vehicle!

Very nice rooms and great service. Front desk employees always helpful. Rooms: Clean and nice Nearby activities: Everything from parks to restaurants and the harbor and downtown life. All walkable. If you don't want to walk, take a bus or short uber anywhere. Walkability: Great spot to walk to anything.

An item was left behind in the safe, when the item was finally shipped back to me 2 weeks later, all items of value including medication were missing. When I called to see if the item was found in the safe the front desk told me that when items are recovered no one is allowed to open them or look in them including housekeeping and managers but that they could ship the item to me with a prepaid label. I did get the bag back but all valuables and medication were missing. I do understand it was my mistake in forgetting that I had placed it in the safe but it appears that not all staff members adhere to the policies in place.
