Avalon at Cahill Park

They are a very professional and good management, perhaps a rarity. Be warned it is by a public park which has noise 24/7. I was told itd be quiet but sadly it was anything but quiet. But thats not really their fault. The buildings are pretty good and the management has always been 100% professional and nice. For that reason Id recommend it. Just be aware its right downtown and there will be noise.

I've lived at this apartment for two years and LOVED it. Its a perfect location. Only a 25 min walk from downtown, a 2 min walk from the park, 10 min walk from beautiful walkable neighborhoods, and like 5 min walk from other shops on the Alameda. The walls are thick so you never hear the people you live next to, the maintenance team fixes things the day they break, and the residents who live here are very respectful so the common areas are well kept (and the cleaning team is amazing). They have a billiard room/ work room with strong wifi, a pool, a gym, and a barbecue. RIP the hot tub though. I miss it everyday. I rarely ever had an issues that would illicit me talking to the front desk but I did have to once and I think this interaction speaks for how the building is managed. They were doing construction outside my apartment for a month fixing the outdoor stairs, it was super loud and there was like a jack hammer next to my work desk for weeks. I went to the management and explained that it was really hindering my work life and the nice woman (forgot her name) responded "Oh! Thats awful, I'm so sorry. How about give you a discount on your rent this month? Will that make things better?" I was floored. I thought I was going to have to fight nail and tooth for some type of compensation because of my past rental experiences. But nope the team at Avalon is very considerate and totally understood where I was coming from! I left the front office feeling very heard and appreciated as a tenant. I would recommend anyone and everyone should live here. It was just an incredible experience overall.
