This is a long message, and thanks for taking time read it! I totally agree with problems mentioned in other comments. Parking is always hard here, and water leaking problem is bad in the garage. It was pretty easy to find a spot before, and I believe that was when Hanover was here. Starting 2024, parking becomes a big problem. But the apartment is actively solving it nowadays, lets see whether it will be improved or not. But I still count it as unsolved for now. Another thing that I do not feel good is that I got asked for more security deposit (much more than the one shown on the website) when I moved in about a year ago. Hanover told me that I can redo a background check when I renew the lease so that I can take some back. For me, I believe I entered some information wrong when I first time run the background check and thats why I need to deposit more, but I do not complain it since it is my mistake. But the current leasing office of Diridon West (Hanover is not here anymore, Diridon West is managed by the new company) now told me that they do not offer background re-scan when renew the lease. And now I cannot take a cent back from that huge deposit. They mentioned they only provide background checks for new tenants but not people who already lived here. But isn't background check just about sending a request to 3rd party and I pay the fee (maybe around $50?) for that? I am willing to provide any documents needed, and if I still need to deposit the same amount I have no objections toward that. It just does not make any sense that they do not allow the background recheck. Until the end of 2023, I always believe this apartment is my long stay place, and I have the strong willing to keep living here. But now, I really need to re-think about my decision a little bit.

Under Hanover ownership rating was 5 stars. Since management change went down to 3, now sadly at 1... Hopefully things get turned around since this is a nice building and was a good community for the first year.

I've lived here for almost a year, and despite the nice amenities it offers, I CANNOT RECOMMEND this apartment complex. Here are the main issues we've faced: 1) Security concerns: Over the past few months, there have been four official crime notices, including theft of mail, packages, and vehicle break-ins in our parking garage. Feeling unsafe is a primary reason we're not renewing our lease. 2) Construction defects: The building has significant construction defects, notably evident in the basement where water leaks persistently from ceiling gaps (photos attached). Despite assurances from the leasing office, these issues remain unresolved, resulting in flooding of our rented storage units in the basement. They've asked me to claim the damages under my insurance, but they also said it's impossible to know the cause of this leak. I'm now asked to prove the cause to further my insurance claim and their corporate office has been avoiding all types of contacts from me . It's been 2 months since the flood and nothing has been resolved. 3) Unpleasant staff experience: The leasing office staffs are untrustworthy, unkind, and unhelpful. They not only refuse to compensate for damages caused by building defects but also are extremely difficult to reach (this matter hasn't been resolved for 2 months, and I still haven't heard back from them after many emails and unanswered calls for the past 2 weeks since my last conversation with the corporate office). They're probably at their kindest when you sign up for the lease but not available or willing to help for anything else afterward. 4) Parking Issue: Despite paying for parking in the garage, finding available spots, especially at night, is extremely challenging. Moreover, some spots have been blocked due to ongoing construction issues, yet the leasing office's solution is unsatisfactory: 'park on the street.' I wonder what I'm paying for. In conclusion, the accumulation of these issues has made our living experience here untenable. I strongly advise against choosing this apartment complex.

*This review is for the Hanover Diridon team.* Ive been living here for about a year now and love it. Its a beautiful place and always so clean. The staff here are super friendly, professional and always ready to answer any questions or concerns. My first tour was with Michelle who was great and took her time showing me the different floor plans I wanted to see. I came in again and Chelis showed me 2 more units when I had a hard time making a decision. Love that the staff also know their residents and go above and beyond to provide great service and a living environment. No complaints at all! Great location, safe and quiet!

I paid parking space, and there is no space available especially in those days. I know they are repairing garage currently, so many spaces are restricted to park, but there are should be accommodations for residents parking. They seem dont care about the residents experience, really disappointed. There are also many problems have been mentioned in others reviews, I totally agree with them. The rent is not worth, avoiding the place and this management company, very unprofessional.

Another thing that I do not feel good is that I got asked for more security deposit (much more than the one shown on the website) when I moved in about a year ago. Hanover told me that I can redo a background check when I renew the lease so that I can take some back. For me, I believe I entered some information wrong when I first time run the background check and thats why I need to deposit more, but I do not complain it since it is my mistake.
