I was sold a much cheaper Hue bulb for $70. If you recognize me from the West Hills review, I am also in disbelief that this happened twice in two days in two locations. After THAT mishap I went to Variel, got my new bulb, and when I set it up I saw that inside the box was the cheaper, white light Hue bulb, not the advertised $70 color changing one! I went to return it this morning, kindly let the employee know it was the wrong one, and when I went to exchange bulbs (as I'm sure you can guess), they were fresh out of Hue bulbs. Once again. The employee even started helping the person in line behind me after she sent me to grab the new bulb so there was an additional waiting period which also sort of annoyed me but I will survive. I have now been to Home Depot 4 times in the past 2 days for a LIGHTBULB! Maybe this is purgatory. Maybe I did something in a past life and this is my punishment. I ordered one direct online so hopefully there is 1) an actual bulb and 2) it is the correct one. Again, I don't like sending bad reviews and yes it is just a light bulb but we're talking gas spent there and back 4 times to 2 stores, my time and energy, my weekend, and of course, my sanity. None of which I will be able to get back. You'll never catch me in a Lowe's though so I am sure I will be back here soon.
