The Maritime by Marriott Hotel

Been here over one hour no one here its 11:58 on Wednesday been here since 11:30 no answer we all waiting to get in a room we paid for

Rooms: Super loud freeway noise!!!! Woke up to emergency sirens on the expressway dealing with a roll over. Racing motor cycles at all hours. Hotel rooms were nice enough except for a ridiculous amount of weed smell in the hall. Pool was really cold and small. You cant really walk to anything except for one restaurant. I would not stay at this particular location again. They do have shuttle service to port Everglades and airport for a fee. Nearby activities: Shopping around the area. Must drive to pretty much everywhere. Safety: Key cards needed to access rooms from elevator. Walkability: Nothing to walk to. Food & drinks: A bar and small restaurant in house. I really enjoyed my stay here. The check-in staff was great. Had a good breakfast. I enjoyed the view from up top of the hotel. Be aware, there is a $15 a day fee for parking. I look forward to returning to this location.

Not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. We were on the top floor, so maybe that's why our rooms were clean and modern? I have nothing bad to say about this facility. Staff was friendly, and the rooftop was also enjoyable. Don't forget to check out the exotic fish collection in the lobby. It's not a swank place on the beach, but definitely a safe clean establishment with plenty of parking. The $15 parking fee was annoying, but not offensive since we were there only one night. Rooms: Clean and recently renovated Nearby activities: Not much in walking distance. Beach is a 15 minute drive Safety: Campus felt safe, but would walk to far alone. Walkability: Not much around here Food & drinks: Bar and restaurant in the lobby Noteworthy details: Nice Libby, and rooftop.
