Very dark hallways. no pool as advertised. Nice furniture in awkward rooms. Its obvious that not a lot of work was put into making this location like other Marriotts. Very disappointed Rooms: Old structure. Noteworthy details: No pool.

Please be aware of the security guard who circles the parking lot in an old beat up Lexus crossover. He harassed me and gave off serious predator vibes. I was sitting in my vehicle on a work call before checking in when he walked up to my car flashing a light in my eyes. He then proceeds to ask for my name and room number. It was the middle of the night and I felt extremely uncomfortable giving such information for no apparent reason. I had only arrived at the hotel 20 minutes prior to that and my work colleges can attest to this as they heard the entire conversation. I cancelled my reservation and drove 20 min north to Boca Marriott. As a titanium elite member, Im extremely disappointed and alarmed by this encounter and wanted to bring awareness for any female traveler who may be arriving alone. Its not safe.

I booked this hotel for a week but decided not to stay after 1 night. First it was difficult finding this hotel as they have signs posted in the wrong entrance. Once I checked in, walking towards my room the hallway had a funky smell, like mildew. When I entered my room, the room smelled just as bad as the hallway. The room had no microwave. For this to be a 4 star I would expect more. Maybe the amenities would make it better, nope went to the pool only to find it empty. No water in the pool and under maintenance. Next day I go to breakfast and find out breakfast is not complimentary, not a problem. I order breakfast and get powdered eggs and the final bill is $30. What a joke needless to say I checked out the next day. Wait theres more. Thinking my nightmare was over, I find out afterwards my family was bitten by bed bugs. The room was 904. Stay away
