Simon (check out) and Lonnie (return) assisted me with a flatbed truck rental. Pricing was affordable, they explained the rules/regulations. One thing I asked clarification on was refueling the truck before bringing it back. They did not say bring it back on "F" they said "Fill it up before you bring it back." I realized their policy and saw that the last few people who rented did not comply, as the fuel needle was just below "F". When I was done, I refueled the truck and it took $20 to top it off. I kept the receipt, just in case. When returning the truck, Lonnie asked if I topped it off, I said yes, he asked if I kept the receipt, I said Simon did not tell me to keep the receipt, but I did in fact have the receipt, as I handed it over to him. Lonnie asked me how far I lived (approx 5 miles away) and he then asked "You live 5 miles away , you had the truck for 1 hour, and you had to put $20 in the tank?" I said "Yes, Simon said to fill it up when I was done, so that's what I did." Lonnie smiled really big and split the fuel cost with me. He said that the previous customers must not have put in fuel in it. 5 Stars because both of these gentlemen were professional, courteous and treated me with respect. They were doing their best in helping multiple customers, cleaning/repairing returned tools, as well as renting trucks. And I definitely appreciate the split fuel cost. I highly recommend Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center!

I tried to reserve a concrete grinder (for this upcoming Saturday) this am around 9am. I was told first come first serve......never heard of such at a tool rental place. I said, how about if I pay for it now?.......I was told that I would have to pay for every day before Saturday too. The associate was just plain rude. He did not even come within 20 feet of me while he "helped" me. Needless to say, I will spend that $200 somewhere else as I have already reserved a machine for Saturday at a local tool rental company. Furthermore: the customer service at Home Depot in general has gone downhill in a major way. Can't seem to ever find someone to help. I ended up going to Floor and Decor for flooring for my entire house....better selection and plenty of people looking to help me. There have been other poor customer service instances at this particular location. I've spent a couple thousand $$$$ there in the last month or so. I will take my business elsewhere.
