image BUYER BEWARE!!!! I brought my wife and baby boy with me to this dealership. We were interested in vehicle on this lot, we checked out the vehicle and our car seat could not fit so we decided not to move forward. The dealership then showed us 2 more vehicles the second was a 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan absolutely disgusting but they assured us they would detail the vehicle and make it look new which the used a color on the exterior that did not match. I also found that the vehicle has oil leaks and a timing issue. The vehicle has under 25k miles. The dealership assured us that their mechanic did a thorough inspection of the vehicle and found no issues, also manipulated us into believing the vehicle is very reliable when anywhere on line will tell you differently. They buy these cars at auction from out of state with a number of existing issues, they slap a band-aid on it and deceitfully sells the vehicle. Now the dealership will not respond to my texts or calls I will be taking the necessary action against Lewis Family Auto Sales LLC BUYER BEWARE!!!! By the way the salesman mentioned what name are we under now shady Florida practice of swapping LLCs after a dispute.

Robert & Lauren could not be further from the truth. For anyone curious we do have docs to back up everything we mention.Robert originally came in and found a vehicle that fit his needs and was well within his budget, he left to get his wife and infant to show them the car. Robert decided this was not the car for him as his son’s car seat would not “fit” in the rear seat, we immediately saw that Robert was missing the required mounting base for the car seat to stay in position, when questioned he said quote “I left it in a rental car, so now I just rig it in with a seatbelt”, his son is still rear facing! We did not feel comfortable with him putting his son in the car for the test drive. We offered to buy them a new car seat REGARDLESS of purchase for the safety of their son, shockingly they DECLINED and wanted the cash equivalent as credit for a purchase!Moving on to the purchase of this VWAfter passing on the first car (due to the ridiculous car seat situation) insisted we show them more. Our salesman showed them a van which they declined. Robert saw this VW in our backlot and wanted to see it, both the salesman and co-owner did not want to show the vehicle as it just came in and was not serviced or ready to be sold, but they insisted and understood this. Robert was excited and showed us how perfectly his broken car seat would fit in this VW, so they decided they wanted to purchase based SOLELY for this reason! Multiple warranties were offered to them, but they declined all. We gave Robert the "car seat" discount and the option for a discount for the cosmetic damages, they were both very appreciative and Robert specifically did not care about the cosmetic damage as he said "t was going to get beat up anyways". Robert was adamant a driving the vehicle home with his car seat rigged in knowing we had not had it looked at or detailed yet. We had a mutual agreement that Robert would bring the vehicle back to be serviced and cleaned properly with the cosmetic damages just touched up as good as possible. Robert brought the VW in as agreed however he was late for the mechanic appointment so we had to detail first. When Robert picked up the vehicle he drove the car to Miami the next week to attend a concert. He called our salesman after hours stating a message appeared on his dash about a sensor and he expressed concern about getting home. Within the same hour, we sourced a mobile mechanic in Miami to fix the car at Robert’s convenience/location and at our expense, keep in mind we are 4 hours away. The mobile mechanic was on standby ready to assist, but Robert did not want to leave his spot in line! Our salesman was speechless, but we were still willing to help. Robert and our salesman had an agreement that he would not drive or move the vehicle until the mechanic arrived the next morning at 7 am (Robert's request). Our salesman received a text from Robert at 1:39 AM stating quote "Cancel the mobile mechanic" STILL SPEECHLESS AT THIS POINTRobert went against the agreement and drove the car 5 hours back from Miami to Tarpon Springs.Even after all of this, WE HAD HIM BRING THE VEHILE IN to repair. We serviced the car and fixed the issues at our expense, Robert was happy and even signed a document stating he was satisfied with the "goodwill" repairs. Shortly thereafter Robert listed the VW on marketplace with the description of "great condition low mileage" (we have a screenshot). Days later Roberts called our salesman again and claimed there was another issue, without hesitation we scheduled an appointment, but he never showed up. After missing the appointment, he called demanding his money back or he would leave negative reviews and litigation. We are a small family-run dealership, and we went above and beyond for Robert and his family, in our opinion Robert was simply a buyer who had buyer’s remorse (which he also texted to our salesman). As a footnote, our dealership operates under only one and only one LLC.

image I recently purchased a vehicle from Lewis Family Auto Sales back in January. They were extremely flexible as I was out of state and very responsive to each question I had. The vehicle arrived timely and in perfect condition. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to buy!
