We've rented condos on Isla del Sol through Compass eight times since 2009. Always have a great experience. Staff is very helpful and responsive, and the properties have everything we need for a week at the beach. Very satisfied, repeat customers.

Update May 25 2023 (2 years later): they called and asked me to take down the photos of inside the condo because the beds weren't made and there was stuff on the counters. I reminded them this is an honest review not advertisement but I'll comply with their request anyway. I'm taking away a star because this just seems very odd to me. We stayed at a condo in st. Pete that was managed by compass rentals. We had no issues during our stay. They had our keys and such waiting for us and had a night drop we used when we left. Their fees are a bit crazy, $150 cleaning fee, condo fee, etc. They even had policies to charge for cleaning if we left dishes in the dishwasher, trash not empty, etc. At least some of these are upfront when you book. They had a provision in the contract that said they'd charge us for excessive power and water use which almost broke the deal for us. Excessive isn't very well defined so they could easily charge us. The condo was nice but I can't really give them credit for that.

We have recently returned from our February Florida vacation having stayed at the same Compass condo for the 3rd consecutive year. We could not be happier with the accommodations and with Compass Realty. Every year the unit is spotless and has been upgraded in some way. Compass has responded quickly to just 2 minor issues which Ray resolved in a very timely manner. The location is particularly attractive to us as we frequently bike ride & can just leave the unit and go in multiple directions without packing up the car. The pool is extremely well kept and the other tenants & owners are very friendly. Charlene is readily available either by phone, text or email. Donna is very pleasant and patient in answering any and all of our questions and is a great resource of information about the local area. She's been very helpful, particularly this year when a relative of ours happen to leave a valuable item in their unit after having checked out and was traveling home. We contacted Donna who then made arrangements with some other Compass employees to search the unit the next morning prior to the cleaning personnel entering the unit. The item was eventually found and returned to the office. Donna presented the item to us the upon our checkout. We want to express our gratitude to all involved, especially Donna who was so understanding of the situation. We're certainly looking forward to next February and continuing our relationship with Donna and Compass Realty.
