First Time there they didn't get all the plack off my teeth, nice people, but when I called to inquire about a cavity filling they stated they would need to do a deep cleaning on the side of my mouth that didn't have the cavity even though they side with the cavity had been deep cleaned already, take your business elsewhere

If I could give this review zero stars, I would. Let me tell you about my experience with this dentist. I went to Dr. Manhiani for long-awaited and desired dental care (my employment takes me away for months, sometimes a year or more) but while I had a break I decided to start my dental care. After doing the evaluation, she went over what would be the treatment plan. I agreed with the treatment plan on the condition that my replacement dental appliance would reflect how my teeth have been all my adult life which is with a gap. She assured me that the denture could be created with my gap. She advised me that it was best for me to pay for the temporary denture at what she said was a discount price of $1,000 and let my insurance pay for the permanent. When the temporary came back, it did not have my gap. It had a space so minuscule that you could barely tell that it was a gap and I said that to Dr. Manhiani and her staff. She said for me to send her a picture of the gap I had and wanted and she would have it remade. It took me some time to send the picture because my job (Disaster Response & Recovery) deployed me to Florida. During my deployment, I sent her pictures and asked when I could expect the new temporary denture. First and foremost, her staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional and then she backpedaled and said, "Oh, I meant to say that I would ensure the permanent denture has the gap." I said to her how ridiculous it sounded that she would expect me to wear a denture without my gap for several months and then allegedly the permanent denture would have my gap. When I came back to continue my treatment, her office claimed that she would not be taking Aetna in 2024 (which was an untruth. She still takes Aetna). Then said my account was inactive. I asked, "How do I reactivate?" and was advised that she would not be reactivating my account which left me in the lurch of finding another dentist after my oral surgery to finish what she had started. How are you not going to honor your word? What type of doctor are you that you care so little for your patients that you cut them off just because they wanted you to honor your commitment? This is bad business, and I will NEVER refer anyone to her office. Stay away.stay far far away!!!!! Response to their reply: There is not enough space to write my rebuttal but know that their response is full of lies and I am sure the one that wrote it was not Dr. Manhiani but the rude person who answered the phone and caused this to escalate into a situation with her lies. I am sure she is probably the reason Dr. Manhiani has bad reviews on various sites. Such a shame.

I would like to give Dr Manhiani and her staff their 5-star rating and I wish it was a 100-star rating! I was referred to her and I have just continued to make her place mine to take care of all of my dental needs! I have anxiety but I feel so comfortable, relaxed, and valued! She is very knowledgeable and an awesome addition to the dental community in the CSRA! I am blessed to have her and her staff in my life!

Ms May,We aplogize that you could not get scheduled to have a dental restoration done BEFORE a deep cleaning was done. Our hygienists work diligently to remove all buildup and plaque (not “plack”).According to the American Dental Association, a dental cleaning is vital to the overall health of the mouth and will ensure that all dental work placed will last. Regardless of which “side” needed a deep cleaning , we do not schedule any work until all deep cleaning has been completed. The hygienist and dentist make the treatment plan and each step is then completed. You do not change the sequence because you “don’t want to have the other side done”. We hope you find a dental office that will meet your needs.

An immediate denture is made before all teeth are removed. The patient will put this in right after teeth are removed and it acts like a bandaid while the underlying gums and bone are healing. It is only meant to be worn for 3- 4 months and then a permanent denture is made. Insurance only covers either the immediate denture or the permanent denture. So, patients usually choose to pay for the immediate denture and save the insurance to cover the permanent denture. This was explained MANY times to this patient prior to any work being started. So, this patient paid for an immediate denture and it was made and given to her. Then after 6 months, this patient emailed a picture to us that showed a space between the front teeth (a cosmetic issue) and said she wants this cosmetic alteration made to her immediate denture. Our dentist told her that since we did not get the picture before the immediate denture was made, no changes to that could be done but the permanent denture would have this cosmetic alteration. She then repeatedly called and harassed the front office and threatened to call a lawyer. Ms Mason, all work done by this office was completed by the rules and regulations set forth by the American Dental Association. All information was discussed with you prior to any work being started. We will not tolerate your harassment. We have inactivated this patient because of her harassment and threats.
