My wife and I stayed at the Azalea for a 3-day "babymoon" this past weekend. The inn is everything you'd expect out of a nice, old, southern B&B. The employee who helped us with our check-in (Carly, maybe?) was very helpful and very nice. She showed us everything about the Inn's amenities and was full of great answers to our questions and recommendations. They had lots of the little things available you might not think of like extra The room had everything we needed. It has an older/quaint feel to it's decor, but we liked that relative to the charming old building. The bed was very comfortable and we liked that it had a Roku TV so we could access streaming services. The breakfast was fantastic. They mixed it up every day and it seemed like everything or most things at least were made from scratch. I liked everything I ate. We could also tell from our own experience (my wife is vegeterian) and seeing what they would serve others eating with us that they are more than happy to cater to specific requests/dietary needs. We also loved the nightly desserts! It is a little bit away from the center of the historic district (a mile or so from most of the main popular restaurants), but we did not mind as the walk into town was easy and beautiful. I also had the impression there were plenty of public transportation options if you did not want to walk. We would certainly stay here again should we revisit Savannah. Thanks!

Warning: There is art work of a confederate flag at this bed and breakfast that glorifies the confederacy. So if you are uncomfortable with that, you should not book a room here. Unfortunately, I did not do enough research ahead of time. I have an African American husband and mixed race children and the confederacy represents a painful part of our country's history that still impacts the structure and access to resources that black people face to this day. And being reminded of this isn't exactly what I would like to do when I'm staying at an otherwise beautiful bed and breakfast. As for the other parts of my experience here, I will say that the staff was very friendly and nice. I would have liked it better if the floor and rugs were cleaned a bit more thoroughly. I took off my shoes before entering the room and the floors and rug felt a bit sticky which is a big -ick for me.

I just left here after a one night stay. The place is lovely. The staff is very kind, helpful and know the town. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and the breakfast was solid. The rooms are quaint. The only little thing I would say is the bathrooms, although clean, could use a bit of an update or something. I will stay here again. Staying multiple days would be even better!

My husband and I booked a last minute visit to Savannah and found the Azalea Inn through an online search. Our great experience began in the booking process as Teagan professionally and warmly took our reservation. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Scott, who made us feel right at home, answered all our questions and oriented us to everything we needed to know about the inn. Our room was beautiful - very spacious, warm and inviting. It was spotless, and a great deal of thought went into making sure that the room was stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Our breakfasts were exceptional, as were the appetizers and sherry and beautiful baked goods available to guests in the evenings. I cant say enough good things about the Azalea Inn. We cant wait to return to this exceptional property!
