Verizon

Visited 6-15-2023, my daughter purchased a IPhone watch, paid in full for the watch and paid off the old watch. The agent added a home protection and device protection plan to my account without my knowledge. I contacted Verizon (2 calls) and after 40 minutes on the phone figured out why my bill went from $314 to $361 a month and removed the protection plans (6-19-23). I tried to call and talk with the store and give them a chance to explain what happened but off shore agent told me they were busy. This store is owned by a Verizon vendor and NOT Verizon. If they "cram" your account, there isn't a lot you can do...except this. Even if this store closes, there is 100 other stores this company ownes. Be careful working with this company and monitor your bill after interacting with them. Agian, I tried to contact them before I left this review. I will post it to my poky fb groups as well.

Edwin was great to work with on 6-5-2023 (first visit for me) and 6-6-23 (me and wife and when I dropped off my old phone) and 6-7-23 (when my wife dropped off her phone).. We will make sure to have a more full review when the discounts are applied to put accounts that were promised. We didn't get a receipt showing the discounts and weren't sure if this was normal. My wife was promised $800 off her new phone with the current promotion and my phone was quoted at $220 off. Edwin said the changes would be reflected in 2-3 billing cycles (months) but we are worried when we asked for paperwork reflecting that we got the deals he was only able to provide a paper saying he took our old phones. Hopefully it works out, but it made us nervous knowing he is switching employments next week and won't be there if there was a mistake. Management:is it typical to not get anything that verifies Verizon is giving us the trade in discounts promised ($800 and $220)? If the promised discounts work, I'll upgrade to a 5 star. UPDATE 6-10-2023: Edwin knew we were going out of country and that is why we got the phone. He sold us these phones without tell us they only work with wifi overseas for the first 60 days...which I was just informed when I called Verizon a few moments ago. He is leaving store so it obviously didn't bother him as long as he got the commission. What a scam. I doubt he even turned in the discounts and promotions we were promised. Use the real Verizon store, not this scam shop
