Four50 Residences

Former resident of 450 W Belmont in a studio unit. Pros: - Great location. Close to stores, transit, etc. - Newer building that looks sleek and modern inside and out. - Common areas are clean and well-maintained. - In unit AC, heating, washer + dryer. - Leasing team was awesome and responded very fast to emails. Cons: - Paper thin walls between units, at least for the studios. Expect to hear your neighbors through the walls. - While the leasing team is great, the building management has room to improve. Coordinating my move-in was stressful because it would take them a week or longer to respond to my emails. After move-in, my emails still took at least a week to get a response, or were ignored. At one point they switched residents to a different rent payment system, which caused payment issues for me and several others (we brought this up in our community app). The whole switching process felt last-minute and unorganized. The management team is very friendly but I feel they could do a better job of responding to emails and just generally being prepared. - Odd layout for the studios. The bathroom is massive, which is nice but it cuts into space that could've been used in the living area or for bigger closets. Because of this, the studio feels cramped despite the decent square footage. Also, the bathroom has one of those rolling/sliding doors, which isn't great because it leaves big gaps around the door even when closed. - There used to be monthly resident events, but these stopped with no explanation. - There were several cases of people letting their dogs pee in the elevators and not saying anything to management. I know this is outside of management's control, but it still makes for a less enjoyable resident experience. Despite the cons, my experience living here was ok overall, hence the 3/5 stars. I think this building has good aspects and I hope this review can be used by management to make improvements. I wouldn't live here again though. Update: I appreciate management responding to my review. I'm using a separate account under a different name for privacy.

Absolutely amazing apartments! Lovely high-rise in Lakeview East with stunning views, high-end amenities, and fabulous on-site staff (especially Tiffany!) Located close to public transportation and access to the lakefront takes mere minutes. Very pet friendly! Safe neighborhood with the friendliest of neighbors. 10/10 would recommend!

Have lived here for almost 2 years. Maintenance requests have been dealt with day of every single time, and the building itself is probably one of the best made ive seen. The whole team here is very friendly, and they pay attention to detail. 0 complaints
