DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville

Location was great for the Solar Eclipse. Our stay was amazing!! Lindsey, the hotel manager, went out of her way several times to make sure we were having a great stay! She even visited with us at the eclipse viewing. Highly recommend.

When you check out make sure you have all your stuff we stayed there for a concert Thursday night April 4th 24 my daughter and i forgot our shoes in the room because we also brought our slide on sandals that we wore when we left called 30 to 45 minutes after we left and they said they would look in our room for the shoes and call me back they never called me back I had to call them they told me the tore up the room looking for our shoes which were a pair of Jordans and a pair of vans said they could not find them but that was after the housekeeper had cleaned our room. They said they would call me back the next day when all the housekeepers and management was there never received a call so I'm taking it as a loss I'm more than 100% sure the housekeeper stole our shoes and it was not handled the way It should have been she should have been fired so before you leave make sure you check you have all your stuff because the housekeepers will steal it. Literally called 30 to 45 After we left!!!! We will not be staying here again .... Rooms: Wasn't that clean . Had blood on curtains in our room. Not only are the housekeepers thiefs but can't clean worth a damn

Celebrated my birthday. The staff was very friendly. Especially the lady that gave me caramel turtles. We were upgraded for a small charge. The room was huge! I thought the breakfast was included but I was told since they didn't attend us because they were busy she would have the manager waive the charges. They didn't but it's ok, lesson learned. I do have to add that the breakfast was not that great. The staff made it very enjoyable and worth every penny. I'm still confused about the parking if it was included or not. I didn't get a charge for it but overheard it was a separate charge.
