Budget Car Rental

Im 1 1/2 hours from home and already have a flat tire! I have another 7 hours to my destination. Im in a small Iowa town waiting for a text message to find out how long it will be fir road dude assistance. We were told we were getting a Ford Expedition and ended up with a 2019 Chevy Suburban. The vehicle is dirty inside and out. The inside smells like old cigarette smoke. Im so disappointed right now!! I will never rent from Waterloo Airport (this was my first and last time).

Customer service was great and tbe van was perfect for our trip. Will definitely rent from Budget again.

The worse customer experience, racist, and denied cars to my husband and I and a white male behind us, but then rented to a black male that was after us. We were in line before 6pm, and was on speaker phone with someone, and complaining about how many people where in line. Because we pointed out the fact that there were multiple cars in there lot, this worker just hated to actually do her job. So we showed up today at 12 and were told I wont rent because you were rude. What kind of people do this. I work at a hotel and customer service is so important, yet this place has none. If the dont have car available then do allow people to book them. It simple to remove inventory. I have no clue why Waterloo Airpot would want a business that leaves there passengers and patrons like this. Why would you close @ 6pm when that is when the last flight arrives? I am contacted corporate headquarters because this is wrong and extremely unfair.

Reservation was for noon pick up time and was given a price of $241 for 5 days when I got there to pick up the girl working the counter didn't even say hello just pointed to a sign posted to call a cell phone number of somebody else that works there. Guy who answered said they didn't even have a rental for me and didn't know when it would be there . finally at 5:00 that night it was ready when I returned the car at 4 pm the day it was due back I was told I was being charged $30 for every hour I brought the car back late.. their system was showing I picked the car up at noon (which wasn't even possible considering there wasn't a car available until almost 5 hours later) and the girl told me she wasn't able to change any information so couldn't close out my ticket was told to speak to the guy when he got in that night to work today is 5 days since then and I have not gotten anybody to return a phone call after leaving several messages. Today I called the 800# and was told the charges are correct and all they could do was take off 5% and offer me a free day off my next rental. I will never again use this company and think the whol place needs to undergo some serious customer service training. Total charged 314 instead of the 241
