Small, "everyone knows everyone," neighborhood place that makes the best margueritas and Mexican food. Been going there for 25+ years - never disappointed.

We get back to Torreon's from time to time. We moved away from the neighborhood 25 years ago but make the hour trip to get the Margaritas. Bring a DD because you'll want more than 1. The food is great as well. Small cozy place but well worth the wait for a table.

We recently visited this Mexican restaurant in Kansas City with friends and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was authentically traditional, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable dining experience. The food was simply amazing; we tried the fish tacos, enchiladas tres amigos, fajitas, and chimichanga, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The drinks were also a hit among everyone in our group.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Lucita, our waitress. She was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to explain menu choices and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her attentiveness added to the overall positive experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and outstanding service in Kansas City. It's definitely a must-try!
