The Willows Apartments Shreveport

Management was completely unprofessional. They took our money knowing that they werent going to accept our application. We were given the apartment, move in date, paid both the application fee and deposit and less than 24 hours later, we were denied. We werent as to why we were denied because those three different women in the office gave us 3 different responses. I could tell they were just making things up and picking trying to come up with excuses as to why we wouldnt be able to get the apartment. Would not recommend and definitely felt discriminated against.

The people who work at this office are incompetent at best. Especially the manager, Kathy. They lied to us and said that they would hold an apartment for us as long as we paid our application fee and deposit immediately. So we did, paid the $100 application fee and $400 deposit. We put the date wanted to move in on the application it was about a month and a half out from the date of the application. Then they said we had to start paying for the apartment right then even though we were told it could be held until the next month. We would have never filled out the application Had we known we are going to have to start paying right away. Why in the world would we pay the deposit and application fee if we didnt think we would get what we wanted?? All we asked for was our deposit and application fee back. They said they would take care of it, but nothing happened. We finally had to go to corporate just to get the deposit back. Corporate said they had never even heard from the willows about refunding that. So the willows office never submitted the deposit refund to begin with. Some places take your money, and they just hope you forget about it. In the end, they are saying they wont refund the $100 application fee, even though they were messed up on their dates. At this point, Id be willing to just accept a simple admittance of a mistake that THEY made.
