Young School - King's Contrivance

I have had both of my children attend the Young School, beginning at 6 months old. My son is now 5 and my daughter is 2. Their experience at the Young School has been wonderful- the teachers are loving and supportive, the administration is responsive, caring and very easy to communicate with. The Young School provides numerous extra-curricular opportunities to students, including dance, lacrosse and soccer, and a music teacher comes in to sing with the kids frequently as well. The playgrounds are lovely and well-made, the environment is inviting and cozy. I can't say enough good things and I'm so appreciative of the care they provide our children.

The Young School had been a 2nd home for my daughter since she was 4 months old. She is now 4. I love that she has been exposed to such wonderful and caring teachers. The early education is amazing. My daughter loves her school and it will be bittersweet when its time to send her to Kindergarten.

The Young School at King's Contrivance has been wonderful for our children and an exceptional overall experience. Considering COVID and daycare institutions as a whole, they have had very low turnover of their core staff. The teachers are caring and engaged with the children throughout the day. We have found the Reggio Emilia curriculum to be an excellent fit for our curious and active children - especially with their approach to social, language, art, and scientific learning centers. The Young School also offers wonderful optional extracurricular activities like soccer, basketball, and dance during the school day. I would highly recommend the Young School for families seeking an above-and-beyond daycare experience.

I love this place! Started my now 2 year old baby girl when she was 22 months. I was afraid because this was her first time being in a school environment, around alot of other kids and I was just so worried how she would adapt. The school have security cameras where you can watch in at your convenience through their app. I also enjoy that you can communicate through the app, look at pictures that they post, send and receive messsges for updates. Messaging through the app is so easy, and their response time is excellent. The teachers are caring and patient because my girl does have her days. I love that you need a code to enter the building, and the staff is very pleasant. I havent had a bad experience and that put me at ease. I highly recommend this preschool.
