Equinox Apartments

Nearly 4 months in, I'd say this is a very good place. Would be perfect if not for a few things. Just have to add that the maintainance people here are just amazing. Absolutely love everyone of them that have come in. Very nice, knowledgable, and professional. Also, the couple people I've met from the office are also very nice. 1) They place that I moved into has a dishwasher that leaves a redish dusty residue on the cleaned dishes. Maintainence was in for it and said if running it empty with their cleaning pod didn't fix it, it needs replacing. Still happening, but don't know if they'd replace something that technically works. 2) The oven cooks unevenly. It's the only oven I've used that I have to rotate my baked good halfway through to make them not a little overdone in the back and underdone in the front. 3) Mostly this: Smoking. It's not even supposed to be allowed here, yet I see it not uncommonly. This is not like breaking something "harmful" on the lease like putting a tack hole in the wall to hang something or owning an extra small dog, or something else not allowed per lease guidelines. Secondhand smoking is harmful, and makes breathing difficult for me, and I'm not even asthmatic like my brothers. And to make it worse, they litter the grounds with their cigarette butts turning an otherwise wonderful place into a somewhat iffy looking one up close to the building. Literally, there is a trash right there. Use it. 4) This isn't something wrong but would make the place perfect for ameneties. Bike racks. They say not to put your bikes on your balcony, but I don't know where else they expect the biking community to put their bikes. My one fits in my closet, but us not having the space is the main thing keeping my partner from getting one. My closet is full.
