        Rented a car for 5 days. I never take the insurance from the rental companies as my own insurance already covers rental cars. However, this time I was tricked into accepting it. I was asked if I wanted the "extra" coverage for vehicle contents, etc. I said no, but never was there mention of the costs being added for the vehicle itself. They act very nice and make you feel comfortable, all the while cheating you out of your money. Nothing but corporate greed!

        This review is more about customer service than the vehicles. We tried to rent and made a reservation online. The flight was delayed causing us to arrive after the counter closed, since we needed a car we had to go to a different agency but canceled the sixt. They still charged us the 200 dollar fee even though we could not pick up rental since the office was closed. They get this rating due to the rigid practices and not reducing it to the lower fee for cancellation.

        David the customer service representative at the check in desk was unhelpful and would not accept a FL government issued drivers license with a slight smudge on the photo; however, TSA and Alamo Rental had no issue reviewing and accepting the DL.
