  • Dee Ha,

On vacation with four children book for side by side rooms and was told I would be accommodated.. we got there and the children were 4 doors away from us! Next to the exit. Front desk attendant did their best to help accommodate us but general manager Kristy Johnson came in and was very rude told us she would not accommodate us. Breakfast the juice machine didnt work only had water and 1 lady working the whole thing. Waffle machine broken. Roaches in room. Would give a -10 if possible solely based on the racist general manager Kristy Johnsons attitude and very unprofessional behavior! Staying at the Hampton in right behind there as of now and it is perfect! Definitely dont recommend this property. Noteworthy details: Location was horrible

Rooms: Some stains on be but its ok The beds were comfortable the shower takes a few minutes to get hot but when it did get hot it was very nice Food & drinks: Water and waffles

I will start by saying that Kristie the manager and her front desk staff were great. They were friendly, professional, and responsive. Janesia (sp?) even walked me to my room to help make sure my key card worked. She was attentive and asked me about the horse show when I got back each day. The front desk staff also addressed my concerns with empathy. Now for the few issues I experienced. First, my glass shower door felt unstable and was difficult to open, feeling borderline like it was going to fall if I wasnt careful, but maintenance didnt really fix it. They supposedly lubricated the track but I still felt like I had to carefully pick the door up to slide it open. Second, I was supposed to stay there for 7 nights and I saw that housekeeping comes every 3 nights for longer stays. The 4th night rolled around and they still hadnt come, so I filled out a request and placed it on my door the next morning. I came back that afternoon and they had picked up my request but still didnt come in. I mentioned to the front desk that evening that I asked for housekeeping to come, at the very least to take out my trash, but they had already left for the day by then. Housekeeping never came as long as I was in my original room. I dont need my bed made or fresh towels every day, but I wouldve appreciated having my trash emptied since I did eat meals in my room. Third, I woke up on the 2nd to last morning to what looked like a bed bug crawling across the bed. I immediately called the front desk to ask for a new room. Kristie was very accommodating and moved things around so that I could get a new room instead of having to find a new hotel for my last night. Im very grateful for her help so that I could have peace of mind going to sleep my last night! Its no Hilton, but Id say that the Sleep Inn is overall worth its price.
