Retaining Wall Solutions

I hired RWS to replace a failed retaining wall in my backyard back in 2015. They did a great job removing the old wall and building the new one in only 2 days. Unfortunately part of the wall was taken out by water in a big storm. Thankfully RWS honored their 10 year warranty and rebuilt the destroyed section, even adding a drain to mitigate any future issues which was excellent! Only reason for 4 stars over 5 is that we had to wait around 11 months to get the warranty work completed.

I had an encounter with one of your employees (bearded, orange shirt, white pickup with your logo on side) this morning on 270 while driving my kids to school. He tailgated me, then speeded by me to tailgate two other drivers, making lane changes without signalling and with little space between cars. This all happened between the Tesson Ferry and Gravois exits, culminating with him crossing from the far side of the highway to the exit in short order without signalling. I'm thinking to myself the whole time, "Is his work as shoddy and rushed as his driving? Does he cut corners there too?" When you put your logo on public display, you say something about your company with each action. Thought you should know...

Mike and Josh are great technical professionals who understand the in's and outs of any retaining wall they put up. I would highly recommend.

We hired this company in May of 2021 to replace a retaining wall. The initial encounters and quote were all great. We paid the required $500 deposit to get on the schedule but were told that due to COVID and the worker shortage of the time, the wait would be 12-18 months. We were OK with that believing the excuse and the quality of the company. It has now been over 26 months of waiting to get the job completed. Josh, the salesperson, has been extremely unresponsive. Never reaches out to give us updates and only sometimes replies when we reach out. Often with the excuse that he sent an email and he's not sure why we didn't get it. At around month 25 we called to cancel the work and get our money back but Josh said they just got the permit in and work would start in 2 weeks. A little convenient but we were excited for the job to start. 2 weeks go by and we don't hear anything. We were tired of the runaround so we finally told Josh to get us off the schedule and refund us the $500 for wasting our time. He said he was sorry and that we had been extremely patient with them. We still have not gotten the money back. I called the office and was told the owner had written us a check. It's been 10 days and I still haven't received anything. I believe this company only wants to work large commercial projects. They will get the residential jobs on the schedule in case they have a break in their schedule but they don't really want to deal with them. If you don't want the job, don't take it!
