Athletico Physical Therapy - South County

I started developing pain and pressure in my lower pelvic floor while I was recovering from total knee replacement surgery. For a long time I wrongfully assumed it was a continuation of pain caused by the surgery. I had difficulty walking, rising from a chair and literally moving around. I FINALLY sought a medical evaluation believing it to be a hernia, kidney stones, tumor, UTI or similar. Long story short my insurance company refused to approve an MRI without first trying less expensive options like physical therapy. I of course was completely skeptical and figured it a waste of my time as I had never even heard of Pelvic Floor physical therapy. I could not have been more WRONG. Margie was my therapist and worked on me for a solid hour. I walked out pain free after having moderate to severe pain for many weeks. I can only describe it as a MIRACLE. She believes I inflamed a nerve going from my lower back to groin while struggling to increase my range of motion and flexion from my surgery. Needless to say, she made a believer out of me! Thank you Margie and Athletico!!

I don't think anyone wants to go to Physical Therapy, but if you have to go, go to Athletico. John, Jeel, Cindy and the entire crew were amazing. They work you at your pace and get you back on your feet in record time. I have had some dealings with the large hospital group PT, and it was not a good experience. Hardly push you and billing was a nightmare. Their goal is to just keep you in PT as long as possible and keep billing. Highly recommend Athletico.

Having needed physical therapy numerous times over the years for knee and back issues, I can honestly say this was one of my best experiences. From the location, to the ease with which I could make an appointment, to my particular therapist, Molly Albers, everything went as well as I could have hoped. For those concerned about cleanliness, every piece of equipment I touched was cleaned before and after my use. The bigger machines even had signs letting you know it had been cleaned. I highly recommend this facility and its professional and caring staff.

Excellent experience at Athletico in Concord Plaza. I had an ACL tear and arrived with a brace and crutches. Twice a week therapy for 7 weeks and I am able to have full range of motion. I have also regained the strength in my leg and have a therapy plan to continue at home. My therapist, Molly, was so professional, caring and creative with my therapy plan. I always looked forward to my appointments. The front desk staff, other therapist and assistants were awesome. I highly recommend Athletico Concord for all your therapy needs.
