Regency Lodge

I stayed there two nights. The kids had fun at the pool. Breakfast was good. The employees were nice even did little extras like extra set of sheets, gave us ice at the bar so didn't have to go all the way to machine, even gave me dressing for my salad I had brought with me.

There was someone else's hair/random stains on our sheets (they were happy to provide new ones for us). A MOUSE spent some time in our room so we checked out and went somewhere else. Staff was nice but I felt a little unsafe and a lot unclean. They didn't seem surprised about the mouse.

They get one star for having a pretty outside and a nice foyer but once you get to the rooms they aren't as nice as the pictures online and might have bed bugs. The night manager was pretty cool though and compt us and gave us a new, nicer room so props to him.

I have never written a review of a location, but this experience was so awful that I hope someone learns from it. We reserved through hotwire. when we got to the hotel, the staff was so rude and abrupt. They charged us another $130+ along with the $113 I had already paid through hotwire. It was 101 degrees outside. The air conditioner did not work. It was a holiday weekend and I was told they would put in a work order but "couldn't guarantee they would come work on it today or tomorrow". Condition of the room was run down-lamp shade was cracked. There are outside entrances to the room and that is how we attempted to gain access to our room, but the keys didn't work. Went back to the front desk and was told "due to safety" those doors don't work and to go through the hallway to our room. Paint peeling from walls, dirty bedding, broken lampshade, no air, broken drawer, phone did not work, TV was from the 90's and blurry. I have asked for a refund and was told, only the general manager Jarron could do that and all the owners were gone for the holiday weekend. The front desk did not know how to process refunds. Pictures are very dated-might have been nice at one time, but RUN from this hotel...
