UPDATE:
I must compliment Christy with ABQ Uptown apartments who contacted me and resolved the late fee issue. That amount was refunded back to my account and the items for maintenance are being addressed now. Christy has always been a pleasure to work with and is highly professional.
First month here. Got charged 145 dollars late fee for rent because whomever took the rent payment confirmed that it went through. Male office manager, Anthony, confirmed the payment and then was told today that it did not go through and oh, we will wait to tell you so now you have to pay 145 dollars for a late fee. And AND, even though it is not your fault, we will not waive the late fee. That's a heck of a welcome. Today I had to work from home as I work remotely and could not hear anything as the leaf blower guy was outside my door all morning. It's a nightmare. Residents do no pick up the poop in the dog park and no one seems to say anything. I'm constantly picking up after other residents. My car got broken into, yes I left it open while I was unpacking but someone helped themselves to a few bags of items and a few boxes and cases of things. Brand new items in amazon packages from my car. In this supposed "safe" gated community. It is not safe. My sliding glass door lock is broken and wont engage but maintenance didn't seem to feel that was important because it has been close to 48 hours without a response from maintenance. Take my advice. Do not rent here.

Professional staff. Nice apartments. Gated facilities galore. Nice weight room, Starbucks bar. Across the street from a mall and grocery store. So many amenities!

If you are thinking of living here, I strongly advise against it
After living here for almost 2 years we recently relocated to a safer part of town. During that 2 year period we had the attempted theft of one vehicle, the successful theft of our other vehicle, and the complete theft of our garage (valued at over $25,000) a crime which would be considered second degree felony larceny. There is no doubt that this must have been an inside job due to the amount of items stolen (a packed full garage completely emptied) as well as the perpetrator(s) successfully avoiding the security every time; we
will have the perpetrators brought to justice.
If you value your peace of mind, stability, and safety then I suggest you look elsewhere. Id steer clear of any and all Sentinel Real Estate Properties, if they are allowing this to happen on this property who know whats going on in/on the other properties maintained/owned by them. I will be posting this review everywhere that I can to ensure that everyone knows the sliminess, greediness, and downright offensive behavior and environment of this complex.
