I could look past the less than pleasant receptionist, but being left in a room and forgotten for hours was unacceptable, and that was with an appointment! I ended up leaving without even being seen. Obviously, I would not recommend them.

I live across the city, but had to come here for a checkup because the wait to get seen by a doctor was over 3 months in all the other Duke City medical locations across the city. Although I do think the receptionists are amiable and the doctor is a competent general practitioner, the place itself seems like I hit a time warp, with medical instrumentation that seems 20 years old and I was hit by hidden fees. After a 3 minute meeting to discuss the bloodwork from the checkup, I was levied a $180 charge. I was told by the doctor and the receptionists that this would not cost anything as this was a continuation of my earlier checkup in which the bloodwork was ordered, and to mention that we were going over bloodwork to avoid being charged on the return visit. Before I went in, I mentioned this and kept bringing this up to the receptionist and nurse, who both nodded along without objecting or mentioned any charge of any sort. I was then shocked a month later to receive a bill and to find out that this is a second charge according to this practice. At best, this is gross ignorance on behalf of the doctors and receptionists, and at worst, this is outright fraud. This is only receiving a 2 star review because the doctor seemed generally competent at least, and from what I can tell of Albuquerque in general, the healthcare infrastructure is complete garbage and most people would rather drive to Arizona for anything mildly serious than to get treated in this city for obvious reasons. I recommend not getting blue cross blue shield insurance, as the Duke City practices are the only ones that will accept this insurance in the city (the Presbyterian network only takes United)

Not willing to see you if you walk in an hr before they close. Misdiagnose everything on multiple occasions. Unwilling to admit they were wrong. Do not recommend. They have me steroids to treat an abscess because they thought twice that it was herpes. Obviously that only made the infection worse and more painful. Had to go to the ER because of the malpractice here.
