Hyatt Union Square New York

My dad had an emergency surgery at NY Eye & Ear on 14th St and we stayed here for convenience to go to his post op appt the next morning. They have the best staff and take good care of guests BUT the mattress had to be the worst Ive ever slept on (including camping cots), and the pillows offered no support for head or back Im used to Homewood Suites by Hilton and other Hilton beds truly disappointing should have taken a video to make it real

I stayed at the Hyatt a few weeks ago and had an amazing stay. The hotel was clean and modern, but what really stood out to me was a thoughtful recommendation by our concierge to help us explore the city. They recommended East Village Ice Cream Crawl. Our incredible tour guide, Andrew, picked us up from the hotel and took us on an incredible ice cream tour throughout the local neighborhood. It was an amazing way to get to know the city and his smile and humor made us feel quite at home. Thank you to the Hyatt Union Square and thank you to Andrew with East Village Ice Cream Hall!

The staff at this hotel could not be kinder! I was here celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond in recognizing that. The terrace room was really nice to have the extra outdoor space in the city. Rooms are a bit tight but to be expected in NYC. The location of the hotel was superb. I will be back!
