Prices are outrageous damn $80 for a tune up. They won't work on your bike with you there so you have no idea if they even done anything or if they did it right. Its just a big scam they're just out to get people's money

BEST SHOP EVER. Super cool, down to earth staff that listen, understand bikes, and are super accommodating in both pricing and their time. Personally traveled over 2 hours twice, in the same week, to do business here. Good selection of bikes, gear, and apparel.

It is truly unfortunate that I have to write this review. I bought my bike here about 9 months ago, and have purchased one other bike from the shop, as well as another Norco privately that I hoped to have serviced here as well. During a recent trip I had an issue with my rear hub that fell under the warranty, and brought my bike in. They said no problem, that it was covered under warranty, and they would get it taken care of. Almost five weeks and 4 phone calls later, they finally called to say my bike would be ready for pickup shortly, but that I was in need of a chain and new cassette as well (I had put a new chain on less than 8 weeks before, 5 weeks of which it was in the shop). I declined the service, as I do all of my own routine maintenance, and knew it didn't need a chain anyway. When I went to pick my bike up, the total for my "warranty" work was $98. I was charged $40 for the warranty work, about $10 in shop materials (both of which are kind of an "eh, whatever" charge), and then charged for replacing rear brake pads. The thing is, I had replaced both sets of pads and discs less than 10 weeks before (remember it was in the shop for 5 weeks), and when he showed me my old pads, they weren't the Jagwire pads I had installed (which are blue), but a yellow set, presumably a set they show everyone they decide to change pads on without their prior knowledge. I was charged an additional $45 for these pads, that weren't mine. I paid and left, and have decided to take my business elsewhere. It is a shame, as I was growing to like the shop and sending them more business, but there are too many other shops with far more honest tactics for paying the bills.

Your bill was $58.85 not $80. You brought your bike in 15 minutes from closing to do an hour worth of work on. We do not work on bikes on the spot unless they were purchased here. When you come in smelling like a weed dispencary we wouldn't want you hanging around in my shop getting everyone high from your smell. Inexpensive Walmart style bikes take longer to work on than a quality bike with the improper assembly and cheap components. Your bike was very unsafe to ride when it arrived to us which we fixed for you. Cables ran incorrect, bolts loose( stem and cranks), huge hop in your wheel which we removed, etc. We even went over everything we did with you and your bill with taxes came to$58.85 which you gave 60 and said keep the change. We even helped get your seat to the proper riding height. You seemed very happy when you left here.

I am very taken back by this review as we pride ourselves in quality and honesty. 1st we NEVER ever replace anything that isn't necessary. Your rear brake pads and chain were completely worn out. We do not nor will we ever save old parts to say they were yours to make a small sale. Why would we sell brake pads and tell the customer they need a chain that isn't past tolerances to run business off, No thank you. I am 1 of the most honest people you will ever meet. Your chain had multiple quick links( 1 of which was installed upside down) and the chain was installed backwards ( shimano 12 sp must have lettering facing towards outside). Your premature wear indicates hard pedaling ( hence broken chain)and riding in all conditions ( mud) which will wear parts out much faster. We checked your chain with 2 chain checkers and it was so far worn that we informed you because it is going to need a cassette in order to work properly. The warranty was for the part and unfortunately we do not get reimbursed for labor on this. The $45 was for diagnosing issue( tear down hub) contacting and taking care of warranty, removing your tire, sealant cassette and rotor, unlacing wheel , relacing the new hub , truing, tensioning and dishing wheel, changing brake pads, adjusting gears, &installing all parts back onto newly built wheel. Seems very reasonable. As far as the 5 weeks, we had to tear your wheel down to find issue, submit warranty. Waited a few weeks for your part, out of our control. As soon as the hub came I worked on it right off . You were called and came in a week after we called you. The brake pads which were installed were $34. I will be happy to resend the invoice if you would like to get the breakdown correct. I hate you felt this way and thought it best to write an unfair review and not contact us first..Remember we are here as support for our community for a sport that we Love. We will not steal from anyone and we will only sell you what you ask for or what is needed to keep your steeds working properly.
