I've been coming to this exact location for many years from small staycations up to birthday parties and have always enjoyed it. More recently though they've really done a lot of work here and staff and everything is just generous and amazing and I definitely recommend it to anyone for traveling, birthday parties or corporate parties, to just staying for some quiet time. The staff member tonight (I didn't remember his name but I will get it) was extremely accommodating and very polite to both my girls as well as myself. He even "babysat" my daughters baby doll when she had to run potty and did it with a smile. Again I definitely recommend and will continue coming for our families hotel needs. (PS I am a general manager myself so I do know the things to look for and still can see so so so much improvement with everyone and everything here) Edited to add: The gentleman's name was Jay that helped me. He also has helped me multiple times since writing the review and I must say I've been quite the pest and he made sure to help with everything I needed. I definitely suggest everyone check out the new and improved Americinn by the zoo.

Clean, clean, clean! There were a LOT of kids, and they were loud and obnoxious and ran up and down the halls screaming all day and night, but I didn't hold the hotel responsible for parents not being able to raise children to behave in a public setting.

I had been staying here for over 10 years was always friendly until new owners the gm is very rude have nothing good to say about this place now .y family has made alot of memories here but since new owners and new gm I will be taking my business somewhere else rooms are out ragously priced they dnt deserve any stars the way the new gm deals with customers

I got a jacuzzi room suite. Went and had dinner, came back and was going to take a dip and I ran my fingers along the edge and there was dead skin cells and other dry residue along the sides. Absolutely disgusting. Went talk to the front desk lady and she brought cleaning spray and came and took some kind of picture of the tub but didnt even bother cleaning the tub. I still got charged full price for that nasty room and wasnt offered an alternate room.
