Kinley Cincinnati Downtown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

You have to stay in tributes. Its like walking into a luxury hotel at the turn of the century. Yet modern. Very good location with tons of food options.

Extremely disappointed that I even have to leave this review. DO NOT VALET YOUR CAR AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT IT BROKEN INTO AND NOT REIMBURSED FOR LUXURY ITEMS. I trusted my belongings with the staff and while my car was with the valet overnight my car was broken into and my bag was stolen. Their resolution: covering the window and $172 worth of hotel points, not my $3200 personal items in my vehicle. Marriott I expect a response to my claim 544074788 ASAP. This is so disappointing, I am a loyal member to the brand and the fact that there is no ownership by the parking valet or Marriott brand as a whole is unacceptable.

My wife and I visited Cincinnati to see a Kevin Hart show. The hotel is fantastic from top to bottom however our room ended up having an issue with the heating/cooling. As soon as we brought it to the attention of the management, they were on it within seconds. Moreover, the assistance and consideration we were given were above and beyond anything we could have asked for. We cannot put into words the appreciation we have for Galen and his staff. Their kindness and consideration was more than anything we expected and it truly touched us in how they went above and beyond to not only accommodate us but to make sure we had an outstanding trip. Sincerely, we were and are still in awe of everything they did for us. Do yourself a favor and support a business that puts customer satisfaction above anything else. Thank you Galen and the entire staff of the Kinley for a trip and experience we will not soon forget. We won't think twice about staying here in the future as everyone from the valet to the maintenance staff treated you with the utmost respect and made you feel welcomed from the moment you stepped foot in the lobby. Thank you a million times over.

Stayed at Kinley for a Wedding and had a great experience. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and Valets were attentive. The bar and caf downstairs had a lively and welcoming feel and was one of the most lively lobbies I've been in for a hotel. The manager Per was very helpful with resolving a booking issue I had and the staff in general were very helpful in any way they could. Was a great experience and would stay again if in town. Room was very modern with lots of plugs and usb chargers and had one of the nicest showers I've been in, fully tiled. Road noise can be an issue, though you are at an urban hotel so there is some to be expected, and the walls are not very insulated to the hallways, as the elevator ding could be heard from our room when the air vent was not running. If you are a light sleeper i would recommend earplugs, but i have yet to stay at a downtown hotel where i would not recommend them.
