Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown/The Phelps

Absolutely wonderful experience. Staff was extremely nice, hotel was very clean and the room was awesome with a great view! This will be my go to hotel anytime I am in Cincinnati!!

The location is incredible, the service is great and you must visit not only the rooftop bar, but also the main bar. The knowledgeable bartenders can pull together whatever you may be looking for! The bartender we had, not only knew bourbon, scotch and ryes very well but also was an amazing mixologist! Can't wait to return to this location when back in the area.

I came to Cincinnati to meet up with old friends, that I havent seen in 10yrs!!!! We wanted to Surprise our friends, so we came early to check in, Karen at the front desk greeted us with the most prettiest and friendly smile. She said that the room wasn't ready, I then asked her if there is anything she could do to get us in early, because one of my friends that traveled with us wasn't feeling well due to some issues she was having and that we been on the road for 9 hours and she needed to rest before we surprise our old college buddy, Karen told us to have a seat, she told us to get some breakfast and she will work with housekeeping on getting us in a room. Well to make a long story short an hour later we were in our room. After that good breakfast and a nap my friend was feeling better and the rest is history! We had a time of our life thanks to Karen, She is truly a gem and I travel all over the world due to my job I stayed at a lot of hotels and never had this kind of excellent service. We want to thank Karen for the best stay ever, I forgot to mention she signed us up for Marriott Rewards, Program. We will only stay at Marriott properties moving forward.

A simple hotel with the needed amenities. Quality of service can be improved. Breakfast can have more choices.
