The Beeker

Lived here 2 years. Good location, close to lots of fun restaurants & bars but the intersection (5th & Summit) can be loud at all hours of the day and night. This didnt bother me but be aware if noise bothers you. (Sirens/loud cars/people yelling etc) Rooftop patio is nice. Wish there was a pool or gym though. Price is comparable to all others around. Underground parking garage door is frequently broken. Meaning u will have covered but unsecured parking. This was my biggest complaint! Also frequent fire alarm testing is annoying. Oh, and no good guest parking areas. However maintenance & leasing office people are very nice and quick to respond to any concerns.

My 23 year old daughter lives at The Beeker. My first concern was safety, and I would say this building is extremely safe in its procedures. We toured it with Laura and were very happy and decided to lease for a year. There was an unfortunate situation that happened and I contacted Laura at the leasing office and she helped me with the situation. I was very grateful for her help. Im not sure this Would happen at all apartment buildings. The location is great. My daughter had a small maintenance problem, and it was addressed quickly. Building is very clean. All the common areas are well cared for. People seem very nice going in and out. Parking is great! All in all its been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!

The worst neighborhood to live in. My car got broken into twice once while in the covered garage and the second time the car was literally stolen and the thiefs committed petty crimes in it. They actually went to every car in the complex trying to find an unlocked car. I have the video. Every night you will hear cop cars and ambulances I can guarantee you that. You can simply just download the citizen app and youll know exactly what I mean. Literally gun shots ever weekend.

The only time that I got appropriate assistance was when I moved in. Whenever I send an email to the maintenance, did not reply at all, and I had to email them several times. During the weekend, the phone line is not even accessible. Also not kind at all!! (If they are nice to you, that is when you come to a tour!) The way the management emails to the renters is so rude, sends so many repetitive emails, and sometimes the management requests unreasonable things from renters (ex. Vacate your parking lot in 24hours as we are gonna fix things otherwise we will tow etc.) The gate at the underground parking lot breaks SO many times, and I could not get my car out because the gate was shut and not fixed until the evening of the day (and the parkinglot fee is still 100$ a month!). Neighbors are noisy, lots of parties on the deck, and not friendly to pets too. Noise proof is noneexistence, and you can hear all of the noises coming from your neighbors on your floor and beneath you. When you take a shower at busy times (in the morning and night), the water doesnt get warm enough even during winter.
