I do not recommend going to Zales. My spouse bought my engagement ring in 2018 in a size 6.5 but the jeweler returned it as a 5.5. Later on, we had to size it up, correcting the original mistake that happened before we received the ring. This caused detrimental issues in the ring. The jeweler claimed they had to bend the basket holding the main stone, crushing part of the setting detail. This sizing also ruined the prongs holding the small diamonds on the band. This caused diamonds to fall out consistently with very light wear. Approximately every 6 weeks we were in-store getting diamonds replaced. We always told the store associate the issues we've had with the ring while getting the diamonds fixed to find resolution. The final time we went in, they decided to "DND" the ring. Which means they null the insurance we purchased, destroy my original engagement ring and give me a giftcard for the original cost my spouse spent in 2018. My spouse and I were upset at the thought of Zales destroying my engagement ring, so we took it to a reputable local jeweler and they fixed the bend the zales jeweler claimed was absolutely necessary, rebuilt all of the side prongs holding the diamonds, and replaced the missing diamonds, all for $200. Zales repeatedly put a bandaid on the problem and then when they got annoyed with the problem they created, they gave us no options for help and ultimately is now denying the insurance we purchased, even with the original fault in the ring being on Zales. Do not go here. Go to a local reputable jeweler who cares about your business. Not a big box store who just wants your money and had no intention of having your bridal jewelry last "forever" as they claim.
