Some of the lowest rates around campus! like it is shocking. I have lived here for almost two years now and have never really had any problems. Love the staff too! Just an all-around good place to rent from, especially if you are a student!

I havent had any issues dealing with them so far. Every time we have had an issue they have resolved it quite quickly. They communicate with us promptly and were understanding about a personal issue we are dealing with.

In all honesty, the reviews and the track record of this property managing company speaks for itself but heres my 2 cents. It's abundantly clear why there are numerous complaints against them. The management team is utterly incompetent, failing even at the most fundamental aspect of their jobcommunication. What's more appalling is their deliberate sabotage of third-party work assessments, evidently to prolong delays until they can force their own overpriced services upon you. And their aversion to directly engaging with tenants or coordinating necessary apartment access for maintenance work is just unacceptable. After all, isn't that precisely what we're paying them for? For anyone considering their services, heed this warning: if you're eager to fork out money for a property manager who contributes nothing but headaches, Steve is your man. If you relish the idea of shouldering the day-to-day management burdens yourself, Steve is your man. And if you're fine with them employing underhanded tactics to drain your wallet with unnecessary repairs, guess what? Steve is your man once again! Consider yourself forewarned.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate for an entire year, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. As someone who invests in real estate all over the country, I can confidently assert that I have never encountered a property management company as egregiously incompetent and dishonest as Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate. First and foremost, Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate shamelessly misrepresents financial figures, making it clear that they have no qualms about stealing from their clients. The numbers presented were consistently inaccurate, and it became evident that their primary skill lies in creative accounting rather than effective property management. It's alarming to think that they are entrusted with handling finances, given their blatant disregard for honesty and transparency. To make matters worse, Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate seems to have a pathological aversion to the truth. They have a knack for lying about property issues, creating an environment of constant uncertainty and frustration for property owners. It's disheartening to discover that a company supposedly hired to manage properties is, in fact, actively working against the interests of its clients. In addition to their deceptive practices, it has come to light that Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate would intentionally leave properties vacant and fabricate issues. This disturbing strategy allowed them to exploit the situation further by hiring their own family members to perform nonexistent maintenance work, all in an effort to make money through deceptive means. However, when I took matters into my own hands and hired independent contractors to assess the property, they found that there was nothing wrong with what Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate was claiming. It became evident that their family members were being used as pawns in a larger scheme to generate revenue through dishonest means. Maintenance issues, which Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate claimed were significant, were either nonexistent or easily fixable. This revelation only emphasized the extent of their deceit and exploitation of remote property owners. The staff at Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate are not only unprofessional but also remarkably rude. Any attempt to communicate with them is met with condescension and a complete lack of courtesy. It's baffling how they can justify their behavior when dealing with paying clients who deserve a basic level of respect and professionalism. To add insult to injury, Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate seems to be stuck in the dark ages when it comes to staying up to date with industry standards and technology. Their archaic methods and lack of innovation only compound the myriad problems faced by property owners under their management. However, the contrast couldn't be more stark when I decided to switch to a new property management company. The transition has been the smoothest process ever. I hardly ever have to check in, as they efficiently handle all aspects of property management. This newfound experience has reaffirmed my belief that competent and professional property management companies do exist. In conclusion, after enduring a year of frustration and disappointment with Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate, I strongly and wholeheartedly advise anyone considering their services to not hire them. This company's practices are not only unethical but also bordering on criminal. Save yourself the headache and financial loss by choosing a property management company that values integrity, transparency, and professionalism qualities that are sorely lacking at Hardwick, Inc. Real Estate.

It is obvious that this is a slanderous smear campaign created by unethical real estate investors, who own Kader Capital and affiliated companies, who tried to force our property management company to rent out their properties without fixing some City Code Violations that could create a dangerous and possibly deadly situation for the tenants. When we refused to list them, they cancelled our contract early, hired another company to take over, and then complained that we didn't assist that company to get maintenance done, which is not true, as the tenants can verify and the records will show. Communication was very poor and they were insulting when they could not get their way. Two of the related business partners would not even identify themselves on the phone. Perhaps real estate investment is not a fitting business for people with bad people skills and no expertise in that area. The only underhanded tactics in this situation were used by these big city investment partners! In our opinion, they overpaid for their rental properties and expected us to rent them for high prices without repairs or upgrades. We have been in the property management business since 1996 and have a multitude of satisfied investor/owner clients, many of whom have been with us from the start and would be happy to vouch for our fair and honest business methods. Not to mention hundreds of happy tenants that we have had over the years. Some have rented from us for most of their lives and then passed the rental on to their children! It is doubtful that the Kader partners will ever be able to say that. Some of their tenants have complained to us already and want to move back to one of our rental properties. Any complaints about us are from some the worst tenants you could imagine, who would probably complain about anyone they rented from just for spite.

When this review was posted, Kader had only been with the new management company for a week. Not much time to know if they are better or worse. A smooth transition and "the owner is always right" attitude may not be the answer for fair and ethical property management. We always tried to keep the owners updated and provide the best information available and options to consider. Maybe this doesn't work if people are only interested in the bottom line.
