Picked up a 12 passenger van from Budget's TF Green airport location for a school trip with 8 students. It was convenient to be able to park at the airport garage and walk over the skyway to the rental desks and the pick-up area. The young woman who served me at the pick-up counter was polite, knowledgable, and efficient. I was on the road in less than 15 minutes. Drop off was even easier! I would definitely rent with them again, next time!

From the start, picking up the rental car was very difficult. We got to the address and there was no sign, the doors were locked, customer service would not answer the phone from any phone number that we tried - although the business hours said that they were open. After about 30 minutes, we finally found the place, but it was not clearly marked or convenient - no help from budget. The car was decently clean, but not impeccable. There were candy wrappers between the center console and the seats. The car didn't smell clean. But that wasn't our big concern. We were stuck in about 6 hours of traffic delays on our drive back home, and I called budget to see if we could extend the drop off time by a couple hours and what that would entail. Entail. It took a couple representatives and the one that we finally spoke to was not the most pleasant person. He seemed very frustrated with a simple question. He then assured us that it would be the same price for us to drop it off two hours later. When we got to the Fort Lauderdale airport to drop off the car there was nobody around. We were already late and follow the instructions to leave the keys in the car. Needing a receipt for reimbursement, and not receiving one from budget, nor any confirmation that they received our car, we tried contacting budget about the issue. At this time we could not call on the phone and tried digital options, none of which were available. There is no chat box on your website. We finally spoke to somebody on the phone after about 40 minutes of waiting, the third representative that we spoke to and again none of them were pleasant except the last. He assured us he would contact the facility ASAP to ask them to close our rental and send us a receipt. That was nearly 48 hours after we had dropped off the car. Still not hearing anything, I initiated several tickets on the website. Finally, 72 hours later we received our receipt for an amount exceeding our agreement. It was a stressful experience.
