a terrible experience, I would rather sleep on the street than there again, it is not because of the conditions of the place because the price itself already knows what to expect, a week ago I booked a double room for two people for two nights as I did the process online because I had already paid the amount, the day we arrived to do the check-up the administrator charged me 100 dollars more as a deposit that he said he would return when the accommodation was finished, we were Hispanic and I suppose that is why from the first moment he treated us with indifference and without any kindness, he gave us a room that did not have toilet paper, the bathroom was damaged, the beds were full of dust, or the room was completely dirty, it gave the impression that he was looking for the worst room to send us, even so we did not complain because we just wanted rest to continue on our way, the deposit was never made and when we called to ask, he answered in a super rude and annoying manner just for asking about something that he promised to return, if I could give him 0 stars I would give it to him without thinking, it is true that one pay for a cheap room but not to be treated with indifference and discrimination just for being of a different race

-The room was a constant cloud of cigarette smoke -There was urine in the toilet bowl already -Someone had left cigarette ashes in the sink -There were cigarette burns in the bed blankets and sheets -Homeless people lingering around the hotel office as we got out of the Uber -Someone straight up asked us if we smoked as we were looking for our room as well as just sketchy people all around the hotel at one time..had trap house vibes -The front desk person was a sweetheart and tried her best to help us out with a better room, but if that second room took a 1-star room and placed us in a 1.1 star (this one did not have piss in the toilet but still wreaked heavily of cigarette smoke) -The air conditioning vent in both rooms had never been wiped down I still have pictures on my phone to prove all of this. My wife and I left that night and just walked across the street to one of the other hotels in the area at 2:00 in the morning..this Econo Lodge was truly that bad. We are working on the process of obtaining a refund but this is the type of place that truly makes me want to blast them on every platform imaginable just as a means of forcing the hotel owners to take responsibility of their establishments inadequacies. We werent looking for the Ritz Carlton, just not a borderline trap house.
