Back in February/March I needed a hotel in the Northpark area and this hotel was offering very reasonable rates despite it being the middle of when all hotels were full due to a big cheer event. The front desk was super friendly and check in was fast. The elevators are super fast and waiting was never a problem. The rooms are all tastefully furnished though you can tell it is an older property and there is some very slight wear present throughout. Everything in the room was in working order and the beds were also extremely comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows are a very nice addition to the rooms as well, and really made the room feel open. I will say the rooms are a little dark at night though. It would have also been nice if the hotel still provided the travel size shampoo and conditioner upon request as well. The food was great and also very reasonably priced for a hotel and the breakfast staff (both the waitress and supervisor) were wonderful. The biggest plus though was the free covered parking, that was a very pleasant surprise and the garage felt safe and was clean. This hotel is an excellent value for what is offered and is the best deal in Dallas for the area. If you need to be in this specific part of Dallas this is the hotel to book!
Rooms: The rooms are a little older and in some areas do put a date on the property, but they are clean and well kept
Safety: Area is a higher end part of Dallas, but you do need to still be careful in the area as it is Dallas.
Walkability: Not the most walkable area, everything is about a 20 minute walk, but it is doable.
Food & drinks: The hotel does offer breakfast and also a bar/restaurant in the PM. Breakfast is only buffet on the weekends, a la carte on the weekdays. Selection is your usual off-the-menu breakfast.

If you want bad customer service this is the place for you! Staff discriminates and uses different sets of rules for different guests staying at the hotel. Cannot believe that the Hilton name is associated with this establishment. Linens are stained and washrooms have seen better days. For the cost of rooms so not worth it!
